Studio Classroom

Welcome to the Lost Boys Environment

Lost Boys | School of Visual Effects is a unique experience in every way.

Students find themselves in a culturally rich and diverse group of people in one of the most naturally beautiful places in the world, Vancouver, BC, Canada. We differ from traditional educational institutions with our hands-on, project based curriculum and studio-like classroom environment, with lots of “in the field” excursions. The small class size nurtures a strong learning relationship between students and mentor, and often results in a close knit group of friends who develop team work skills, while recognizing and supporting each others strengths. Our studio is open, warm and welcoming. The instruction side is set up much the same as you might find in any studio, with individual workstations each equipped with dual LCD screens.  Students use this area to work on projects and receive one on one project discussions with the instructor and teaching assistant. The other half of the studio includes the student lounge area which is also used for Friday screenings, art classes, photo studio and prop storage.  Outside of the classroom, students often spend time together socially.
